PETALING JAYA:
Penang police are investigating an allegation by a woman that she was forced into prostitution to pay off her father’s RM20,000 loan taken from an Ah Long.

Penang police chief Hamzah Ahmad said the allegation was made in a podcast on social media site TikTok recently, Bernama reported.

He said police are currently tracking the location of the woman who claimed she was in Penang.

The audio broadcast, lasting nearly seven minutes, went viral on social media.

The woman, 26, apparently contacted the audio operator during a live broadcast on TikTok.

She said she was forced into prostitution in February after her father became indebted to Ah Long.

She claimed she was forced to be a prostitute by the syndicate to pay off the debt.
