BALIK PULAU: A TikTok influencer who is also a well-known entrepreneur and 14 motorcyclists have been arrested for reckless riding and driving and have been placed in remand.
Southwest police chief Kamarul Rizal Jenal said the influencer, who is in his 20s, was arrested for “drifting” at the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway in Bayan Lepas.
“The other 14 arrested were motorcyclists, six of whom are aged 12 to 17. Three of them are still in school,” he told Bernama today.
Drifting is a driving technique where the driver slides the car through a corner or a turn, often with the front wheels pointing in the opposite direction to the turn.
