Gombak police chief Noor Ariffin Nasir said the woman, who is the personal assistant to the 32-year-old actress, lodged the report at 5.25pm on Wednesday.

“The complainant was injured and threatened with a weapon by her employer and her employer’s 30-year-old cousin at an office in Batu Caves,” he said in a statement.

“The altercation is believed to have stemmed from the complainant interfering in her employer’s household affairs.”

Ariffin said the victim sought treatment at Selayang Hospital after sustaining injuries to her face and arm.

The case is being investigated under Sections 323 and 506 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt and criminal intimidation.

Yesterday, it was reported that a personal assistant was arrested in Gombak on Wednesday, on suspicion of theft at an actress’s home in Taman Cempaka, Ampang, after RM30,000 in jewellery was reported missing.

Ampang Jaya deputy police chief Nazruel Ekram Abu Saare, said the actress had earlier reported that two gold necklaces and two gold bracelets were missing after RM10,000 in cash went missing in March.
