
Rizwadi, who unveiled his election manifesto last night, also pledged to distribute aid to single mothers, housewives and female entrepreneurs in Nenggiri, as well as encourage the establishment of daycare centres in workplaces.
The Bersatu man also vowed to give free tuition to students from low-income families, provide various sports infrastructure in the constituency with the help of government agencies, and to help youths upskill to boost their income.
For the Orang Asli, he said he would strengthen the role of village chiefs, upgrade the roads that lead to their villages and form a special team to ensure Orang Asli children get adequate access to education.
He also said he would provide 20 residential lots as transition homes for villagers currently residing on reserve land that is to be used to build a new road in Bertam Baru.
Rizwadi said he would also assist in expediting the issuance of land grants to settlers in areas under the South Kelantan Development Authority (Kesedar).
He also plans to make Nenggiri an eco-tourism and extreme sports haven to spur the local economy, saying the Nenggiri dam in particular could be developed into a water sports hub while Bertam could attract avid fishers.

The by-election this Saturday will see a straight fight between Rizwadi and Barisan Nasional’s Azmawi Fikri Abdul Ghani, who is also Kelantan Umno Youth chief.
