PETALING JAYA:
The Kelana Jaya LRT line’s train frequency is set to return to normal after a “small fire” at the Kelana Jaya station’s track.

In a post on X at 2.03pm, RapidKL said trains from Putra Heights would turn back at Ara Damansara while trains from Gombak would turn back at Asia Jaya because of the fire.

It said shuttle trains between Ara Damansara and Kelana Jaya, and between Kelana Jaya and Asia Jaya, would be activated on one platform.

In a post at 3.30pm, RapidKL said the fire was extinguished and the alternative train service had been terminated.

“The train frequency is currently being regulated and will return to normal intervals shortly,” it said.

RapidKL apologised for any inconvenience and thanked passengers for their patience.
