MACC denies issuing acceptance letter for catering services to Kedah firm

The anti-graft agency says it is tracking down those responsible for issuing the fake letter in its name.

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission has denied issuing an acceptance letter for a tender to catering services worth RM150,000 to a company.

The MACC said it is tracking down those responsible for issuing the fake letter and that legal action would be taken against them.

“The commission denies issuing any such letter for the acceptance of a tender for catering services to the company registered in Kedah,” it said in a statement.

It advised the public to contact the agency to confirm any offer letters if they are in doubt.
