Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah will also receive a full medical check-up.

SHAH ALAM:
The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, has been admitted to hospital for a full medical check-up and cataract surgery on his right eye.

According to an announcement by the Selangor Royal Office on Facebook, the surgery had been delayed for the past eight months but did not give a reason.

Previously, the sultan had the same surgery on his left eye.

“After the procedures, he is expected to take 10 days to recover,” the office said.
