Jempol police chief Hoo Chang Hook said the 61-year-old victim agreed to pay the money demanded to prevent the video being circulated.
He said the woman, who called herself Ayuni Seri, was believed to be an Indonesian.
She made a video call to the man in an unclothed state on June 3 at 4.30pm and asked the man to undress and entertain her for about a minute.
Following that, the woman said she had recorded the call and threatened to spread the video on social media if he did not pay her money.
Hoo said the man, a retired government servant, made six money transfers totalling RM44,500 to four different accounts from June 5 to June 7.
The man decided to lodge a complaint to the police yesterday after the woman continued to harass him to pay another RM58,500.
