Motorcyclist killed in collision with car making a U-turn

The 33-year-old Singaporean man sustained severe head injuries and died on the spot on the Second Link Expressway.

A Singaporean man was killed when his motorcycle collided with a car making a U-turn on the Malaysia-Singapore Second Link expressway late last night.

Iskandar Puteri police chief M Kumarasan said the victim, aged 33, who sustained severe head injuries, died at the scene.

The accident took place at about 12.20am. “The investigation revealed that the car driver, aged 40, a project supervisor for road repair works, made a U-turn at Km1.4 northbound to reach another repair site at Km20,” he said.

The car driver was unharmed.
