PETALING JAYA:
Police are still tracking down the burglars who carted away a safe containing RM800,000 in jewellery from a social media influencer’s house in Pokok Sena, Kepala Batas, Penang, recently.

Acting Seberang Perai Utara police chief Zulkeflee Sulaiman said the investigation into the case is still ongoing but so far the suspects involved have not been identified.

“We found seven fingerprints at the scene but none of them were in our criminal database,” he told Bernama.

“The investigation is ongoing. We have not closed (the case).”

Zulkeflee said police have been keeping the influencer up to date on the developments in the case.

Earlier, 27-year-old influencer Siti Nur Khalieda Yusra, better known as Kieda Crepe, said in a video on TikTok that it had been 40 days since the theft of her jewellery but no arrests had been made.
