Bukit Aman announces transfer of 20 senior officers

The transfers are effective May 6.

KUALA LUMPUR:
The police have announced the transfer of 20 senior officers, effective May 6.

Police secretary Alzafny Ahmad said in a statement that those involved in the transfer include Terengganu police chief Mazli Mazlan, who has been appointed as operation implementation section director of the National Disaster Management Agency.

He replaces Khairi Khairudin, who will become the new Terengganu police chief.

Bukit Aman Special Branch E1 principal assistant director Shazeli Kahar will assume his new post as Kuala Lumpur PDRM College commandant.

“Kuala Lumpur PDRM College commandant Abu Samah Noor will take over Shazeli’s position,” Alzafny said.

Meanwhile, Alzafny said Bakri Muar Johor PDRM Technical College commandant Sulaiman Hussain had been appointed as Bukit Aman management department deputy director (training).

His post at the technical college will be filled by Cheras police chief Zam Halim Jamaluddin.

Bukit Aman integrity and standards compliance department principal assistant director (integrity) Thaipul Bahri Mokhtar will serve as deputy director (integrity) of the same department.

“Bukit Aman management department assistant director of management (administration/budget) Rizal Abd Rahman Sidek will hold the post of Sarawak management department chief,” said Alzafny.
