
It said more people had arrived at shelters in Sabah and Pahang, while the number of victims in Johor had dropped, Bernama reported.
A total of 224 people were housed in four temporary relief centres in Sabah, 175 at four centres in Pahang and 264 at seven centres in Johor.
In Sabah, 75 evacuees were still housed at three centres in Beluran and 149 people at a centre in Sandakan.
In Pahang, 40 people were at two centres in Pekan and 135 at two centres in Rompin.
In Johor, 124 evacuees were still sheltering at two centres in Kota Tinggi and 63 at two centres in Segamat. There is one shelter each open in Batu Pahat (with 23 flood victims), Kluang (38) and Mersing (16).
Nadma said data from the irrigation and drainage department telemetry stations showed the following rivers in Johor, Kelantan, Pahang, Perlis and Terengganu were at the danger level this morning:
- Johor: Sungai Endau in Kluang, Sungai Johor in Kota Tinggi and Sungai Muar in Segamat;
- Kelantan: Sungai Kelantan in Kota Bharu;
- Pahang: Sungai Pahang in Pekan, Bera and Maran, and Sungai Rompin;
- Perlis: Sungai Arau;
- Terengganu: Sungai Terengganu in Kuala Terengganu.
Nadma also said 44 roads were closed due to floods, damaged bridges and landslides, including Jalan Petri Jaya, Kota Tinggi (Johor); Jalan Serengkam, Maran and Jalan Temerloh-Jerantut in Temerloh (Pahang); and Jalan Bukit Besi-Dungun in Maran (Terengganu).
