Three people, including a woman, were remanded yesterday after they were suspected of being involved in the kidnapping of a female student in front of SMK Kepong last Friday.

“The Form 5 student was abducted by a man and woman in a car,” he said in a Sinar Harian report.

The police are investigating the case under Section 365 of the Penal Code for kidnaping. The three suspects have been remanded for four days until Tuesday.

Ariffin said the police also seized a car and a motorcycle.

He urged those with information to contact investigating officer Yap Ching Chua at 019 9969649 or the Gombak district police operations room at 03 61262222.
