Cops probe death of man found in car in Damansara

Police have confirmed receiving a report on the discovery of the body of a man found dead in a car in Kota Damansara on Sunday.

Petaling Jaya deputy police chief M Hussin Sollehuddin Zolkifly said the body was found in a car at a parking lot along Jalan Teknologi 3/9, Kota Damansara.

“He is believed to have died more than five days ago,” Hussin said in a statement.

He appealed to members of the public to come forward with information to assist the ongoing investigation.

Yesterday, a video posted on X (formerly Twitter) went viral after a netizen claimed that the bloated body of a man had been found in a vehicle during a car boot sale in Damansara.

The netizen said the body was discovered after members of the public noticed a stench in the area.
