“I have met with the investigating officer and given my statement. I have revealed who Mr H is, and that is for the police to investigate further,” he told reporters outside Kajang police headquarters.

“Mr H” had been implicated by the other J-Kom official in the video clip, Abdul Wahab Abdul Kadir, as having put pressure on him to make the recording.

On Saturday, blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin had alleged that Mr H was Hakim Ramlee, also a J-Kom official. However, Hakim said such allegations were malicious. “I am in the dark myself, it (Mr H) is not me,” Berita Harian quoted him as saying.

The video clip of a man resembling Agus having an indecent conversation with Wahab had been widely shared, following speculation that Agus would step down from his post as director-general.

Agus said today he had also lodged a police report against a video clip by Raja Petra that had exposed his previous police report and revealed his personal information, endangering him and his family.
