SEREMBAN:
Police arrested a man suspected of killing his father in a fight in front of a house in Taman D’Ambang Kota, Lukut, Port Dickson, early today.

Port Dickson police chief Aidi Sham Mohamed said the 26-year-old man informed them about the incident at 12.45am.

“He informed us that his father was lying unconscious in front of the house.”

Aidi said investigations showed that before the incident, the 49-year-old victim was in a drunken state and had a quarrel and scuffle with his son.

“The son was apparently not satisfied with the actions of his father who uttered abusive words.”

Aidi said the assistant medical officer from the Bukit Pelandok health clinic went to the location and confirmed the victim’s death at 1.15am.

He said checks found that the son had no previous criminal convictions of any sort.
