King conveys condolences to family of London restaurant owner

Zainuddin Yahya, the founder and owner of Tukdin Flavours of Malaysia in London, died yesterday.

KUALA LUMPUR:
Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah have expressed their condolences to the family of Zainuddin Yahya, the founder and owner of Tukdin Flavours of Malaysia in London, who died yesterday.

In a post on the Istana Negara Facebook page, they said they were saddened over the death and hoped the family would persevere.

Zainuddin, who had been living in London for over 40 years, had been operating the Tukdin Flavours of Malaysia restaurant for more than 13 years.

Malaysian dishes were the main inspiration for the restaurant.

The restaurant is very popular and is often visited by world celebrities, and is the choice of dignitaries and Malaysian students in London.
