Only 1 victim in Batang Kali landslide still unaccounted for

PETALING JAYA:
Only one more victim in the Batang Kali landslide is still unaccounted for, according to Selangor police chief Arjunaidi Mohamed.

According to Bernama, Arjunaidi said the number of total victims involved in the tragedy has been revised from 94 to 92.

This morning, the search and rescue team had found four more victims at the site of the landslide, bringing the death toll to 30.

A total of 92 people were affected by the landslide at the Father’s Organic Farm campsite in Gohtong Jaya, near Batang Kali, in the early hours of last Friday. Sixty-one people have been rescued.
