Subang Jaya police chief Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said the statements were recorded from the victim, her mother, a medical officer and an individual involved in the Bros Gang YouTube channel which aired the claims.

Wan Azlan said the investigation papers would be completed soon and submitted to the Attorney-General’s Chambers for further action.

Police detained the teenage actress’ father on Tuesday after she claimed that he had molested her from 2013 to 2017 when she was as young as six years old.

She disclosed the alleged sexual assault in a podcast interview.

The victim and her mother lodged a police report on the incident. The suspect is being remanded until Sept 11 to facilitate investigations.
