KUALA LUMPUR: Actor-comedian Afdlin Shauki, who failed to win election as PKR Setiawangsa division chief, has lodged a police report today against PKR’s election committee for allegedly failing to manage the voting process.
Speaking to the media after lodging the report at the Pudu police station here, Afdlin also claimed there was fraud during the polls.
He added that he lodged the report as PKR’s election committee had failed to act on complaints about several flaws during the party’s election.
“Many of the things they did raised suspicion and were clearly wrong,” he claimed. “We’ve made a report with the committee before, but they did not respond… so we are here today to lodge a police report for them to investigate the matter.”
