Motorist arrested for blocking VIP motorcade in KL

He will be charged tomorrow for obstructing public servants and with reckless driving.

PETALING JAYA:
Police have arrested a 36-year-old man for blocking a VIP motorcade that was going through Damansara, Kuala Lumpur, on Friday (May 6).

Dang Wangi police chief Noor Dellhan Yahaya said the man will be charged tomorrow with reckless driving and for obstructing civil servants.

He said the motorist was arrested on Saturday after a police report was lodged about the man’s behaviour while police were escorting a VIP through Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim from Lebuhraya Sultan Iskandar.

He had been placed under remand for four days from yesterday.
