PETALING JAYA:
Police are on the hunt for a man who groped a woman at the parking lot of Tamarind Square in Cyberjaya yesterday.

Sepang district police chief Wan Kamarul Azran Wan Yusof said the complainant, a 27-year-old woman, was walking towards her car with a trolley of items when the man appeared, offering to “help” her.

“The man offered to help the complainant put her items in the car because he wanted the trolley. The complainant told him she did not need his help and proceeded to put the items in her car.

“Suddenly, the man touched and squeezed her bottom and ran away,” he said in a statement today.

Wan Kamarul said the suspect was a local, dressed in black, had a black sling bag and was cross-eyed.

In a Twitter post yesterday, a netizen detailed how a friend of hers was groped by a man. She also alleged that the same man groped another woman a few minutes later.
