In his second letter to Election Commission (EC) chairman Abdul Ghani Salleh, Lee said the tagline was also a “disgrace” to society. He attached his letter in a Facebook post today.

In the letter, he wrote that the “Malu Apa Bossku” campaign was “like a biochemical weapon” and described it as a “coronavirus that infects the minds of the young and old alike”.

Before the Johor state elections earlier this month, Lee, who joined Pejuang chairman Dr Mahathir Mohamad on the campaign trail, said the “Malu Apa Bossku” tagline went against Islamic teachings and called for the EC to stop its use.

Lee had also questioned how Najib was allowed to campaign in the Johor polls despite his conviction in relation to the SRC International case. Najib is appealing his conviction.

“A sense of humiliation is a fundamental element of our morality while being shameless is an utmost insult that tarnishes human faith,” the Country Heights executive chairman said in his Facebook post today.

“The act of publicly promoting or pushing for the ‘Malu Apa Bossku’ campaign is a disgrace to our society.”

Lee then urged the people to oppose “Malu Apa Bossku” and said he also sent a letter to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and the Conference of Rulers on the same issue.
