4,828 new teachers to report for duty on April 4

They can check where they have been sent to from March 18.

The new batch is part of the special one-off intake of 18,702 teachers announced to address the shortage in states like Sabah, Sarawak, Selangor and Johor.
KUALA LUMPUR:
The official results for the placement of 4,828 successful candidates for the special one-off recruitment of grade DG41 education service officers (PPP) will be announced on March 18.

The education ministry, in a statement today, said the results of placement can be viewed via the ministry’s e-Graduan portal at https://egraduan.moe.gov.my.

“The officers will be reporting for duty on April 4,” the statement read.

Last July, education minister Radzi Jidin had announced that the ministry was initiating a special one-off intake of 18,702 teachers to address the shortage of teachers in several states, including Sabah, Sarawak, Selangor and Johor.

He said the recruitment was done after thorough discussions with the Public Service Department (PSD) and the Education Service Commission (SPP).
