Former PKR Perak chief Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak said there was no benefit in working with the Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman-led party if it continued to act like a “big brother”.
“Muda’s behavior affects the harmony of the political cooperation between opposition parties,” he said in a statement.
Earlier today it was reported that Muda and PKR were set to clash for the Larkin seat, after the former unveiled Rasid Abu Bakar as its candidate.
PKR had on Feb 14 announced Dr Zamli Najwah Arbain as its candidate for the constituency.
Muda is contesting in a total of seven seats, with the other six seats being those which were given up by DAP and Amanah in a mutual agreement between the leaders of all three parties.
Farhash previously called for PKR to contest in seats Muda is vying for in the Johor polls if it continued to remain “arrogant”.
Last week, Johor PKR declared that its seat negotiations with Muda for the state elections were over and told it “to move on and stop its threats and intimidation”.
PKR had previously offered Muda three seats for the state elections.
However, PKR’s Kota Anggerik assemblyman Najwan Halimi said the new party only wanted to contest in easy-to-win seats.
He slammed Muda for being “arrogant” over seat negotiations.
Syed Saddiq said that negotiations with PKR had ended without any mutual agreement.
