PBM eyeing 2 urban seats in Johor polls

Parti Bangsa Malaysia information chief Zakaria Abdul Hamid says the polls is the best platform for the party to introduce The Great Reset 2030 Agenda.

Parti Bangsa Malaysia hopes to provide healthy competition to other political parties through its participation in the Johor polls.
PETALING JAYA:
Newly-formed Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) is eyeing two urban seats in the upcoming Johor state elections, its information chief Zakaria Abdul Hamid said today.
Zakaria Abdul Hamid.

“We’re looking to contest in an urban area as we are a multiracial party,” Zakaria told FMT.

He also said that the party had already mobilised a team on the ground to “assess the seats and potential candidates”.

Separately, in a statement, PBM said it would announce the seats to be contested and the candidates before nomination day on Feb 26.

Zakaria added that the Johor polls, which will be held on March 12, is the best place for PBM to introduce The Great Reset 2030 Agenda.

The Great Reset agenda includes strengthening inter-racial unity, national economic development, and improving the quality of education.

PBM, which has been linked to federal minister Zuraida Kamaruddin, is led by Julau MP Larry Sng and Tebrau MP Steven Choong.

Last month, the party’s deputy president said it would only field candidates in areas where “they had served the electorate and were well-known to them”.
