
They included MIC president SA Vigneswaran and PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man. They arrived at 8.50pm.
These two parties had previously backed Muhyiddin following the controversy sparked by the recent revocation of the emergency ordinances.
Also spotted were Bersatu deputy president Ahmad Faizal Azumu and vice-president Ronald Kiandee, both of whom arrived at around 8.40pm.
Attorney-General Idrus Harun was seen entering the premises in Bukit Damansara at around 8.20pm.
It is also understood that deputy prime minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob had also gone to Muhyiddin’s house this evening.
Umno’s decision to withdraw its support for the PN-led government comes barely a month after it retracted its support for Muhyiddin and called for him to resign.
At a press conference today, Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said that he had enough statutory declarations from Umno MPs declaring that they were withdrawing support for Muhyiddin as the prime minister.
The move leaves the Muhyiddin administration, which is heavily dependent on Umno’s support, in limbo.
At around 12.15am, the leaders and ministers were seen leaving Muhyiddin’s residence.
Among them were Ismail, home minister Hamzah Zainudin, international trade and industry minister Azmin Ali, human resources minister M Saravanan and transport minister Wee Ka Siong.
However, they did not speak to the media.
