“Movement between zones is allowed for essential services, working individuals and emergencies and a police permit is required,” it said.
Residents who work in these zones and who are affected by the changes are exempted from taking the swab test every 14 days and are also allowed to obtain a police permit by producing their employer’s letter.
Operating hours for all sectors will be from 6am to 8pm and staff attendance in the office, excluding frontliners, is limited to only 20% for the public sector and 60% for the private sector.
“Face-to-face meetings for official and work matters are not allowed,” it said.
All sporting activities for training and organisation of competitions or tournaments as well as public recreation are not permitted, except for individual jogging and exercises.

An enhanced movement control order (EMCO) has been enforced at Nyalu Anak Francis longhouse in Mukah; Block A RPR Bandaria Park and Harwood Timber Sdn Bhd Workers’ Quarters in Bintulu; and the Johnson and Noel longhouses in Sri Aman from May 23 to June 7.
An EMCO lockdown has also been implemented in Lidi, Ulu Babu and the Chunggat longhouse in Betong from today until June 6.
