Subang Jaya deputy chief Amihizam Abdul Shukor said a police report was lodged by a woman over the incident which took place at around 8.30pm on April 4.

The complainant was taking the LRT from Alam Megah to Taman Melawati. At the USJ 21 station, the suspect got on the train and sat across from the woman when he started performing the indecent act.

“The complainant managed to record his actions. The suspect’s identity is still unknown,” he said in a statement.

The case is being probed under Section 509 of the Penal Code for words or a gesture intended to insult the modesty of a person, which carries a jail sentence of up to five years, a fine, or both.
