PETALING JAYA: The price of RON95 and diesel will remain unchanged, the finance ministry announced today.
However, the price of RON97 will see an increase of two sen and will retail at RM2.54 per litre.
RON95 and diesel will retail at RM2.05 and RM2.15 per litre respectively.
The new rates will be effective from April 8 until April 14.
The finance ministry said the ceiling price for RON95 and diesel were retained to protect consumers from the global price increase.
“The government will continue to monitor the trends in global crude oil prices and take appropriate measures to ensure the continued welfare and well-being of the people,” the statement read.
