Kadir added that the move also showed PN’s desperation in wanting to increase and diversify its membership in order to give the impression that it was a coalition for all races.
In a Facebook post yesterday, prime minister and PN chairman Muhyiddin Yassin shared a photo of him presenting a membership certificate to Gerakan President Dominic Lau Hoe Chai, officially welcoming the former BN component into the ruling coalition.
Aside from PPBM and PAS, PN also comprises two parties from Sabah, namely STAR and the Sabah Progressive Party.
