First green state Perlis reports new Covid-19 case

Perak, Penang and Melaka are the only green states left.

A total of 8,956 Covid-19 cases have been reported in the nation so far.
PETALING JAYA:
Perlis, the first Covid-19 green state declared by the health ministry in April, is no longer green after it recorded a new case today.

The case was reported in Kangar, a health infographic showed.

The remaining green states with no active cases are Perak, Penang and Melaka.

Sarawak has the highest number of active cases in the country with 52 in Kuching, four in Samarahan and one in Lundu.

Kuching remains the only red zone in the state.

A total of 8,956 Covid-19 cases have been recorded nationwide so far, with 124 deaths.

A total of 8,612 patients have recovered while 220 are still being treated.
