Former minister Kadoh Agundong joining Warisan

He was dubbed "giant-killer" for defeating then Sabah Chief Minister Harris Salleh in the 1985 state elections.

KOTA KINABALU:
Veteran politician, Kadoh Agundong, 70, a former state minister with PBS, sent in his application to join Parti Warisan Sabah today.

Agundong, a vice-president of Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS), said he wanted to fight for the people.

Agundong was once dubbed “Giant Killer” for defeating then Sabah Chief Minister Harris Salleh in the Tenom state seat during the Sabah elections in 1985.

He later became Sabah Youth and Sports Minister and also served as Local Government and Housing Minister with the PBS government in the mid 1980s.

His membership application was received by the Warisan vice-president Peter Anthony during a Christmas celebration in Kampung Ulu Tipoh, Tenom, some 194km from here, Bernama reported.

A former PBS deputy division chief, Blasius Masunig, also announced he was joining Warisan.
