Mior Faridalathrash Wahid, of Bukit Aman CID’s prosecution and legal unit, said investigation papers on Puteri Umno vice-chief Nurul Amal Mohd Fauzi are now with the attorney-general.
“No other witnesses will be called in. The last witness was the Puteri Umno vice-chief,” he told reporters today.
Nurul was questioned over a speech last month in which she described a man who was gunned down after he ran amok at a factory in Penang as a martyr.
She was investigated under Section 505C of the Penal Code for inciting the public, as well as Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act for misuse of networks.
On Sept 23, a 25-year-old man slashed two people at the B Braun factory in Bayan Lepas, leaving one dead and another with severed hands.
Police said the man was shot dead after charging at two officers with a parang.
Nurul claimed that the man’s victims had earlier insulted Prophet Muhammad.
This contrasted with reports linking the incident to his resignation, after his terms of employment were converted to a contract.
