PETALING JAYA: Law firm Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill helped Proton hit a milestone after it purchased six units of the national car maker’s SUV, the X70 and witnessed it deliver its 8,500th vehicle.
DRB-Hicom Berhad chairman Mohammad Zainal Shaari personally delivered the keys to six units of Proton’s flagship, the new X70, to Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill at the firm’s premises in Kuala Lumpur today.
Also present at the ceremony were representatives and stakeholders from Proton Holdings Berhad, Maybank Berhad and LHM One Stop Car Service Centre (M) Sdn Bhd.
The car, which was launched last year, is the first Proton SUV as well as the first to be jointly developed by Proton and Geely.
Last month, it was reported that the Proton X70 registered more than 7,000 bookings in January.
