Selangor police chief Mazlan Mansor said they arrested nine people yesterday in their latest swoop on suspects believed to have caused trouble at the temple.
He said the 30 people arrested comprised 24 Malays, 1 Chinese, 2 Indian Muslims and 3 Indians.
The 21 arrested earlier had been placed under remand while the nine detained yesterday would be remanded tomorrow, he added.

One of the 30 arrested is a lawyer working for One City Development, the company which owns the land on which the temple stands and which wants the temple to be relocated.
Mazlan clarified that another man arrested with the lawyer was a friend of the lawyer. The remand on the lawyer and his friend would be extended for three days, he added.
Earlier today, One City Development said in a statement that it had not authorised anyone to “hire thugs” to “initiate” trouble at the temple.
On yesterday’s arrest of several youths loitering near the temple about 1am, Mazlan said they were released today as they were just “harmless” youths who had gone out for drinks at restaurants.
He said the investigation was still going on and that he expected to make more arrests.
He said there was no timeframe as to when the authorities would stop guarding the temple but that it would be “until everything is safe”.
“The road is still closed so it will be easier for police to control the situation. We hope people understand this.”
About 500 policemen have been stationed in the area.
Mazlan warned individuals who were spreading false information on social media to stop doing so.
“Police will investigate this and we will take action against them. Do not speculate and spread false news that can cause harm to the community.”
