PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad says Pakatan Harapan (PH) will not accept Umno members and those from other parties who now want to join the pact.
“There are many from the opposing camp who now want to join PH parties, but we find that the people can’t accept those from Umno and other parties.
“That’s why they can’t be accepted as members. They can leave their parties and support the government as individuals,” he said at a press conference today.
Mahathir, who is also PH chairman, said this was because the new ruling coalition did not want those from the old regime influencing the new government.
