KUALA LUMPUR: A son of Mara chairman Awang Adek Hussin died at his residence at Jalan Tropicana Utama, Petaling Jaya, near here last night.
Special officer to Awang Adek, Che Samsuzaha Che Noh, said Ahmad Azram, 33, passed away at 11.40pm.
“Azram did not have any illness and died a sudden death.
“The funeral prayers will be held at Masjid Al-Ghufran Taman Tun Dr Ismail after the Zuhur prayers,” he said when contacted by Bernama today.
Azram’s remains will be laid to rest at the Bukit Kiara Muslim Cemetery.
Azram, who was disabled, was the third of five siblings.
Awang Adek said Azram had been very special to him.
“Thank you to all. Azram is my special child and he passed on at 33,” he said in a WhatsApp message.
