Now, DAP veteran leader Lim Kit Siang is hoping this will be followed by “MAHATHIR” after the 14th general election (GE14).

Many believed the “RAHMAN” prophecy foretold the country’s first six prime ministers, with each letter indicating the leaders to date, starting with Tunku Abdul Rahman and followed by Abdul Razak Hussein, Hussein Onn, Mahathir Mohamad, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and Najib Razak.

“Let the ‘RAHMAN’ prediction run its course in the GE14, and maybe it would be replaced by a second prediction of ‘MAHATHIR’ for the next eight prime ministers of Malaysia.”

Lim said the first two letters of this new prediction will be fulfilled if Pakatan Harapan (PH) replaces Barisan Nasional (BN) as the new government in Putrajaya after GE14.

“This is because PH has decided that Mahathir will be the seventh prime minister while Anwar will be the eighth prime minister — fulfilling the ‘M’ and ‘A’ in the second ‘MAHATHIR’ prediction

“Whether the prime minister after Anwar will fit the ‘MAHATHIR’ prophecy, only time will tell,” Lim said in his speech at the DAP kopitiam ceramah in Damai, Kota Kinabalu, today. A copy of his speech was posted on his blog today.

Lim also slammed those who claimed that he would be Malaysia’s next prime minister should PH triumph in the coming general election.
