Face me in Ipoh Barat, Kula dares Subra

DAP's four-term MP says it is only apt for the MIC president to face him in the constituency with the highest percentage of Indian voters.

PETALING JAYA:
The DAP’s M Kulasegaran has challenged MIC president Dr S Subramaniam to contest in the Ipoh Barat parliamentary constituency, which Kulasegaran has served over three terms.

“You say you are the leader of the MIC, then come face me in the seat with the highest Indian percentage in the country,” he said during a speech at the launch of the Pakatan Harapan Indian manifesto, here, today.

Kulasegaran said it was only apt for Subramaniam to stand against him in the constituency as Ipoh Barat had the highest percentage of Indian voters in the country.

He thanked PH for addressing issues pertaining to Indians in the country. “Indians make up the highest number of unemployed and suicide and criminal cases,” he added. “We want permanent solutions to our issues, not the same ad hoc solutions by Barisan Nasional.”
