MACC has lodged a police report calling for an investigation of the website which uploaded the full contents of the document of over 100 pages related to the graft investigation of former Johor executive councillor for housing and local government Abdul Latif Bandi.
Latif is being investigated under Section 17(a) of the MACC Act 2009 as well as the Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorism Financing Act 2001, in connection with the illegal conversion of Bumiputera land to non-Bumiputera status for disposal at higher prices.
Last April, Latif was charged with 33 counts of corruption involving bribes of RM30.3 million.
