The viewing will be done in the presence of the defence lawyers, the prosecutors and the two women accused of murdering Jong Nam, Indonesian Siti Aisyah and Vietnamese Doan Thi Huong.
The court made the decision on the fifth day of the trial today after a request by lawyer Gooi Soon Seng, representing Indonesian Siti Aisyah.
Gooi had asked earlier to view in the courtroom the “LOL” shirt worn by Doan during the alleged killing, after chemist Dr Raja Subramaniam testified he found traces of VX nerve agent on the “LOL” shirt and Siti Aisyah’s clothes.
Dr Raja, however, warned that viewing the shirt in an open space was dangerous as the VX nerve agent’s presence might be still active.

However, Justice Azmi advised them to be present, to which Naran agreed.
Siti Aisyah and Doan are standing trial on a charge of murdering the estranged half-brother of North Korean supreme leader Kim Jong Un on Feb 13.
Jong Nam, the eldest son of former North Korean leader Kim Jong Il, arrived in Malaysia on Feb 6, and was at the klia2 to board a 9am flight to Macau on the day he was killed.
He died on the way to Putrajaya Hospital, sparking a diplomatic row between Putrajaya and Pyongyang.
During the opening statement on Monday, the prosecution said it would prove that the two women approached Jong Nam at the airport’s departure hall and sprayed VX nerve agent on his eyes and face.
Prosecutors told the court the actions of Siti Aisyah and Doan showed they both intended to cause Jong Nam’s death.
Naran had also told the court that they wanted documents relating to the outcome of tests on Doan’s clipped fingernails but was turned down by the prosecutors.
Deputy public prosecutor Wan Shaharudin Wan Ladin later said they would provide the documents to the lawyers.
During the hearing today, Wan Shaharudin asked Dr Raja, based on his expert opinion, which was the best method to “assassinate” a person.
Gooi, Naran and Teh stood to object to the question, arguing any opinion given by Dr Raja might be subjective.
Justice Azmi over-ruled the objection.
Dr Raja said the best method to “assassinate” a person would be applying VX nerve agent on his face as the liquid could be absorbed into the eyes quickly, compared to spraying and splashing methods.
He added that if someone used VX nerve agent to spray as an aerosol, it would be less effective as that would need a solvent to reduce the viscosity of VX.
“This means you will have a dilution effect and you would need to use more to have the same effect,” Dr Raja said.
