In the first charge, Kenny Yee Jeun Fui, 35, was charged under Section 377E of the Penal Code for allegedly using criminal force with intent to outrage the modesty of a nine-year-old boy.
He was alleged to have touched the boy’s genitals during a chess tutoring class in Kulai at 4.15pm on June 30, the New Straits Times reported.
The report said Yee was also charged with touching a 14-year-old boy inappropriately in a car in Kulai at 10.30pm on March 21.
The second charge was made under Section 377D of the Penal Code.
Case mention was fixed on Sept 5.
According to the report, deputy public prosecutor Siti Asmah Zainal Arifin offered bail at RM20,000 but Sessions Court judge Mohammad Khalid Ab Karim reduced it to RM10,000 after Yee’s defence counsel asked for a lower amount.
The lawyer, HK Yoong, said this was because Yee was married with a child and earned only RM3,000 a month.
