Bukit Bendera MP Zairil Khir Johari simply replied, “Which video?”, when asked by reporters at the Court Complex in George Town yesterday, if he had lodged a police report.

Zairil then left the building without answering any more questions.

Recently, two video clips purportedly showing Zairil with a woman, who was said to be from DAP, went viral. Zairil has already dismissed the videos, saying he was not the man featured in them.

With both the man and the woman wearing the same clothes in both videos, it is believed that both clips were recorded at the same venue, and on the same night. However, it is not known when it was taken.

This is not the first time that the Penang DAP vice-chairman has been embroiled in some controversy over an alleged relationship with a woman from the DAP.

Three years ago, photos emerged showing a man who resembled Zairil being affectionate with a woman who was said to resemble Dyana Sofya Mohd Daud, the DAP candidate for the Teluk Intan by-election.

Zairil had referred to the photos as being part of the gutter politics played by those in the Penang opposition.
