Kuantan FA Team Manager, Wan Solihi Wan Hassan, who collapsed and fell unconscious after the completion of the third round of the FA Cup competition at the Perak Stadium here last night, is in stable condition.

Kuantan FA president Zaliza Zulkipli, when contacted, said Wan Solihi, 46, had regained consciousness shortly after arriving at Hospital Raja Perempuan Bainun (HRPB) here, but his condition was still weak.

“The hospital has carried out several tests including observing his heart pressure and so on but the full report has yet to be released.

“He has already been transferred to the normal ward. I was informed by his doctor that he might have been dehydrated and was tired,” he said adding that Wan Solihi’s family from Kuantan, Pahang had arrived at the HRPB early this morning.

In the incident last night, Wan Solihi suddenly collapsed while in the team’s changing room.

The paramedic team that arrived at the stadium gave Wan Solihi preliminary treatment before rushing him to the HRPB in an ambulance.
