IPOH: A crash involving a tanker and a lorry caused traffic to come to a standstill stretching 12 kilometres near the Menora Tunnel heading north along the North-South Expressway this morning.
A PLUS spokesman said the accident at 8.30am caused all the lanes at Km256.5 to be blocked, forcing the highway operator to open a contraflow lane.
North-bound motorists chose alternative routes, via Chemor and Sungai Siput, before getting back onto the highway at Kuala Kangsar.
