AMPANG:
Red Shirts leader Jamal Yunos once again provoked PKR lawmaker Zuraida Kamaruddin’s supporters, right after the duo crossed paths at the Ampang Jaya district police headquarters.

The provocation began when Jamal showed a RM100 note, apparently offering it to Zuraida’s supporters.

Jamal’s gesture infuriated Zuraida’s supporters, who rejected the RM100 handout.

“Subhanallah, it’s haram money. Remember about Allah. We don’t live forever in this world,” Zuraida’s supporters were heard saying.

Before taunting Zuraida’s supporters with money, Jamal had questioned PKR Youth leader Adam Rosly’s extraordinary wealth.

“Have you guys gotten any money? If not let me know.

“It’s such a pity that you guys are all under the hot sun. Tell Adam to organise a ‘kenduri’ at home,” Jamal told Zuraida’s supporters.

During a press conference yesterday, Jamal had invited six journalists on a helicopter ride to observe Adam’s luxury bungalow at Kampung Melayu, Ampang.

Jamal claimed that the 28 year-old owned a bungalow and several luxury cars despite holding the Youth chief position in PKR for only one term.

On Sunday, Red Shirts supporters led by Jamal showed up in Ampang where Zuraida and her PKR Wanita members were promoting the Bersih 5 rally planned for Nov 19, near the Ampang Point shopping centre.

When the PKR women headed into the shopping centre, Jamal and his Red Shirts went after them, prompting police to step in and block their paths, resulting in an altercation.

A video on the Malaysiakini news portal showed Jamal bleeding and accusing the police of punching him with repeated shouts of “Polis tumbuk saya!” (“Police punched me!”).

However, he later filed a police report stating that there was a clash between 150 of his men and a group in Bersih yellow T-shirts. He claimed that those in yellow were acting violently and had disturbed public peace.
