SHAH ALAM: Motorists using the Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP) tomorrow will enjoy toll-free travel for 24 hours from midnight today, says its operator, Lingkaran Trans Kota Sdn Bhd (Litrak).
Chief Operating Officer Richard Lim Kim Ong said the toll-free travel incentive was in conjunction with the 59th Merdeka Day celebration tomorrow.
“We are also offering a 20 sen discount to all classes of vehicles travelling on the Sprint Highway,” he told Bernama after the group’s annual general meeting here today.
Lim said the incentives, with a total value of about RM668,000, were expected to benefit some 398,000 LDP and 164,000 Sprint Highway users.
In another development, Lim said the LDP would be ready to fully implement the electronic toll collection (ETC) by November this year.
“As for the Sprint Highway, the ETC is already being fully implemented at all its four toll plazas since March this year.”
