KUALA LUMPUR:
Police have arrested a 23-year-old “peeping tom” found in the women’s toilet of the Salak South LRT station yesterday.

Police said the man suffered slight injuries in a scuffle with a security guard who found him after a woman reported seeing a man’s head over the cubile partition, The Star Online reported.

Cheras OCPD Chong Kok Sin was quoted as saying that the woman, also aged 23, had gone into the toilet at about 2pm yesterday. While inside, she saw a shadow of a person and upon looking up, she saw a man’s head.

She ran out of the toilet to seek help. A security guard found the man in a cubicle in the toilet. In the scuffle, the man was injured on his left jaw and lips. Police took him to hospital for treatment, the report said.

A pocket knife was reportedly found on him.
