He said previously Sabah had fallen to the Opposition due to a lack of cooperation between the people and the BN in that state.
“There was no development in Sabah at that time and we had to endure it. It made us realise that if we want development, we need to be united to ensure that BN will gain victory in our state.
“My fellow Sarawakians, don’t make the same mistake we did. Think carefully when you’re going out to vote on May 7,” he told a 200-strong crowd at Batu Kitang.
Also present were Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Nancy Shukri, several Sabah Cabinet ministers, PBB Deputy President Abang Johari as well as the BN’s Batu Kitang candidate Lo Khere Chiang.
Commenting on the barring of several Opposition leaders from the peninsula into Sarawak, Musa said he agreed with Sarawak Chief Minister Adenan Satem’s decision.
“Why should we let troublemakers enter our states? Sabah and Sarawak are good friends. If Sarawak refuses to let them in, so will Sabah.
“Besides, they call themselves Pakatan Harapan? What harapan (hope)? They are even fighting over the Batu Kitang seat,” he added, drawing laughter from the crowd.
Despite being in the opposition coalition, the DAP and PKR are contesting against each other in several seats, including Batu Kitang.
